Our Mission

At Pacific Presence Project (PPP), we are committed to guiding individuals toward spiritual nourishment in an age marked by disillusionment and distraction. Our mission is to unite the wisdom of ancient philosophies with the reality of modern lifestyles, creating a holistic spiritual practice that fosters profound well-being and inner peace.

Central to our faith is the acknowledgment that psilocybin mushrooms, our Sacrament, are sacred gifts and guides bestowed upon humanity. Our Sacraments are divine teachers. Only through the sincere religious use of our Sacraments can participants understand the moral, ethical, spiritual wisdom, and psycho-spiritual healing of its divine nature, along with our own divine nature.

PPP is a syncretic spiritual practice that weaves eternal, moral, ethical, and spiritual guidance from many traditions into its practices and ceremonies. We draw inspiration from Soto Zen Buddhism, Stoicism, and the sacred teachings of indigenous spiritual traditions across the Americas. Together, these influences shape a path rooted in presence, gratitude, and interconnectedness. We believe in the transformative power of being fully present — embracing the here and now as the only true moment we have.

Our "Core Tenets" emphasize:

  • Gratitude: Transforming our “I have to” into “I get to” as a way to honor each experience with appreciation.
  • Presence: Understanding that the present moment is all we have, and within it lies the fullness of life.
  • Interconnectedness: Recognizing that we are not the main characters in a separate world but rather an integral part of a vast, interconnected universe (part of nature).

Our members and participants seek to live consistent with the moral, ethical, and spiritual truth and love revealed by our Sacraments. Other core values taught and illuminated by our sacraments include oneness with divine source, self-realization of divine purpose, enlightenment in this lifetime, altruism, forgiveness, acceptance, equality, gratitude, compassion, interdependence, non-discrimination, kindness, non-hatred, mutual aid, selflessness, environmental sustainability, and non-dualistic co-existence.

Through use of our Sacrament, we come to terms with the death of our physical body and understanding of eternal nature of the soul and the continuation of the Soul in the Spirit Realms and other dimensions after Death.

At PPP, we promote our religious and spiritual activities, fostering a global community rooted in harmony and mindfulness. We are deeply committed to environmental conservation as one of the Core Tenets emphasizes that we are one with the planet and the universe, rather than separate entities merely experiencing each other. Our existence is intertwined with the earth, and caring for it is a spiritual practice of honoring that oneness.

In addition, we wholeheartedly support indigenous communities from which we draw infinite wisdom. Our plant medicine sacraments carry rich and deep histories rooted in these cultures, and we are committed to being anti-appropriation, ensuring that we honor and respect the traditions from which our practices originate. The sacrament helps connect us to the Core Tenets mentioned above. We believe in paying respect where it is due, and we actively contribute to the preservation and support of indigenous livelihoods and the safeguarding of endangered languages.

Our charitable endeavors include:

  • Environmental Conservation and Education: Contributing funds and resources to preserve and protect ecosystems, nature preserves, and public parks. We also focus on educating local communities—both children and adults—about the importance of environmental stewardship, empowering them with knowledge to make sustainable choices and protect our planet for future generations.
  • Mindfulness and Mental Health Education: Teaching the importance of caring for mental health from a young age, with a special emphasis on underprivileged communities. We provide mindfulness and gratitude programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge to build emotional resilience and well-being, helping them develop healthy mental habits that can positively shape their future.
  • Supporting Indigenous Communities: Providing support for the livelihoods of indigenous peoples worldwide and aiding in the preservation of their cultures and traditions. We recognize the invaluable wisdom of these communities and are dedicated to giving back in a meaningful and respectful way.

Through these efforts, we strive to live in harmony with the earth and all its beings, fostering a future where both spiritual and environmental well-being flourish.

Our Sacrament is also always maintained consistent with a diversion prevention plan to ensure that no Sacrament is diverted from a religious purpose. During any ceremony involving Sacrament, we will have on hand individuals trained in basic life support (at a minimum) to ensure safety.

We create and hold sacred space to honor and connect to the Earth, to the divine, and to each other. We engage in seasonal rituals and ceremony with Sacrament. We pray, sing, meditate and commune with the natural world and our souls.

We gather or encourage our members to gather in places of strong spiritual energy, generally near or in a natural setting of nature. We consider the following days to be holy days: summer and winter solstice, fall and spring equinox, all full moons and new moons, and days set aside to honor our spirit guides and protectors. Ceremonies and use occurs in compliance with dietary and lifestyle restrictions, including abstaining from alcohol and the use of drugs and alcohol in the days leading up to use of Sacrament. Sexual intercourse is also discouraged for several days in advance of use.

Membership is open to all adults interested in joining our community who agree that they either agree with our doctrine or are interested in exploring if this spiritual practice is right for them. Membership is not required to participate in Ceremonies or to acquire Sacrament to explore our spiritual practices through self guided use.
